I've always felt so inspired by a well fitted tailored jacket and pants as in this picture. I've always wanted to make something as elegant. I love the level of detail on the pockets, seams, bindings, etc. The quality of the sewing and the contrasting finishes. Experiencing temperatures of -18 degrees Celsius in New York
Oh my goodness, so growing up in Cape Town, South Africa and having lived in San Ramon, California for 2 years now, nothing prepares one for these kind of temperatures. This weekend made me take layering to a new and different level. My Journey as a Fashion Design student ... my first skirt

Being able to attend New York Fashion Week is an absolute dream come true. Even though the stage at which I am as a designer may not be where I would have like to be as a designer, being able to attend as a student of Fashion Design was definitely inspirational to say the least.
